Great food and even better service.

I felt like I was at home with the great service and great food that is served here. The grilled chicken sandwich was delicious. Everyone gave excellent service.

Good menu and food but low review cuz they seem to discriminate between customer based on ethnicity origins (I'm Asian ethnicity). Walk in, although was greeted, had to sit by table for 5 minute and didnt even bring us the menu/ask what we'll like to drink. Two groups of customer (not together) came after us and received service (right away after sitting down) before us. Had to wait 15 min before was offer any service. Good food but not so great on fairness.

I have love going there for breakfast, but the last few times they have been lacking on the seasoning of their steaks and pork chops! I love their portions of food!

It was just eh. When walking in I thought I was about to be wowed by some yummy home cooking there wasn't and empty table in the place! We chose to sit at the bar. From then on it was just eh. Our waitress who was awesome, was so overwhelmed. The ordering, POS system and how the tickets were delivered were just a cluster. I ordered corned beef hash with the potatoes not hashbrowns. There was a nice crust on the hash but sadly underneath the crust was mushy. And not just a little mushy. The salsa they offer to go with it was good. Luckily my fiance traded with me and he ate the disappointing hash.

This little diner is great! From the 50s atmosphere to the great breakfast. We had the best steaks and eggs. The cook really knows how to make a great steak. If your wanting a great breakfast this place is where you can find it.

First time here......Pastrami sandwich was tasty!!!! I had the mushroom and cheese omelet with biscuits and gravy!!! The food is plentiful...Looking forward to next meal there! Service is amazing!!!

Went on a Sunday morning. Very busy! Go early. My food was partly good, partly bad. The biscuits were nice and fluffy, but I asked for eggs over medium and the white wasn't even cooked all the way. Service was okay. There was at least a 10 minute or longer period where no one came by to offer coffee. They were super busy, so maybe they need more staff. Tables are very close together, you cannot walk through them. My husband got the chicken fried steak and loved it.

Food took for ever to get to table. But the girls did tell us it will be up soon and they apologized.

I really enjoyed my visit to the hot rod diner in Turlock. The staff was exceptionly nice and attenditive. The food was overwelmly delious and plentyful. I've payed more and gotten less at other restaurants. We're as you get more and pay less here. My hat is off to the cooks who not only serve a delious meal, but have it ready in s timely manner. The waitress es are extremely nice and attenditive. I would surely recommend this place to everyone who wants to have a have a good meal experience.

The service was good even though it was busy and the food was much better than expected. Far better than places like Denny's.

I have been here a few times with my brother and sister and mother. It's definitely a post 21st century Cafe! The classic oldies are singing overhead, while the chatting happens around because this place always has people eating here. I have enjoyed each meal I have tried, and not going broke at the same time. There's plenty of parking, never a wait (there may be during certain hours), and a pretty and interesting entrance decorated well. Speaking of which, the employees decorate the interior according to the season and the holidays which are coming up. It makes a big difference, and is very appreciated! What do you enjoy about this diner? The food is alright.

Great food and Hospitality. Only open until 3:30, was hoping to have Dinner, but my work schedule says no.

We've been going to this place for several years now and everytime the food is great and the service even better. Price and plates are generous. The milkshakes are part of my breakfast, lunch or dinner everytime we go here. We've gone to Ihop, Denny's and other breakfast restaurant chains and there's no comparison. Hot Rod Diner is MUCH BETTER.

Great staff, attentive service and great patrons. The waitress approached just as I drank my last sip of coffee and thought she was late.....to me, that was just in time! For slightly under $10 for a weekday special, I got a delicious ham, egg, hashbrowns, toast and coffee. I'll definitely return.

The rock and roll and 1950s and car nostalgia is prominently displayed at Turlock's Hot Rod Diner. Oh yeah and the food is good too! Be careful the portions are huge go there when you're very hungry!

Had breakfast with my son on Thursday morning while having my truck serviced at Turlock Auto Plaza. Great breakfast. Fast service and the girls are always friendly.

Great food great burgers. There breakfasts is some of the best in town. hash browns are really good and crispy. Biscuits are homemade for the biscuits and gravy. Wife says they're the best she has ever had. They have a outside dining area also and pets are allowed in that area. The waitresses are fast and professional. Even when they're really busy it doesn't take that long to get your food. That's something I really like. Restroom is very clean and new, looks like it's been remodeled. This restaurant deserves a 5-star rating.

I loved this place. For the price the omlettes were full size and the breakfast itself was very filling! I loved the service by the gorgeous waitresses too!

Arrived with about a 30 min wait and decided to sit at the bar for faster service. Couldn’t decide on what to order and ended up going with the country fried steak! Delicious! Sitting at the bar I got to witness the chaos that comes along with the serving job, props to those girls and the cooks! They got my order mixed up with someone else’s but no big deal! They handled it perfectly. Every one of the staff members was on top of their game and always doing something. I will definitely be returning to try their lunch menu because the burgers looked delicious!

Yummy food my daughter loved the biscuits and gravy I loved the chicken fried steak and my son said the avacado bacon burger had good flavor and was massive lol
